Colt Expanse Forging Machined Upper
In the early 2010s, Colt licensed the production of the Colt Expanse rifle, a budget-friendly AR-15, alongside the M2012 bolt-action rifle. These models were Colt’s attempt to enter the expanding rifle market at the time.
The upper receiver available here is a performance forge, a lesser-known but high-quality forging used by Aero, PSA, and the Colt Expanse. These forgings were machined by a Colt-approved supplier and finished with a hard coat anodize, making them a unique piece of history tied to a discontinued Colt project.
We offer Grade A (very good condition) and Grade B (good condition). Limited stock available—purchase while supplies last!
